[Trigger] Paintball hit system

Well, i need some help with creating a shooting system for my map.
So every time a unit get's hit it adds +1 to the attackers leaderboard, but if the projectile faces a wall or a building or anything in the way, the unit shouldn't be hit...
Also, when a unit is hit change it's colour to (random)
But i have no idea how to trigger this so yeah, i need some help here :)

Please.

well i think this is how you could do this but im not sure, make ur paintball a dummy unit, with ur paintball model as the model and then make a trigger that will move it when fired, and have another trigger detect when it comes in range of an enemy unit, and then you can use the "Animation-Change Vertex Coloring" to change the color im sorry i cant explain more but i gtg to work soon
