I expanded my old icon and then painted over it. (to expand well I just zoom, take a screenshot, then paste, then reduce the size, then paint over it in real size).

hmm it looks really pixelated...i'll test this in-game to see if your claim that it looks better there really holds up.

looks alright in-game, and may be a useful alternative to the orb of lightning. the light coming out of it is too strong tho, and would look better if it were more subtle.
