(coincidentally continuing the trend of suggestions for improvements to search such as this and this)
I would like a way toeither:
A. Search within the thread I'm currently viewing. Like, add a button at the top or bottom of the thread for searching only the comments within it. EDIT: seems to already be implemented
B. Optionally just show the entire thread at once instead of paginating it.
I often find myself in quite a pickle, where, if I'm looking at a thread with 15+ pages, and if, before commenting, I want to know if my question has already been asked/answered (e.g., if I want to search for the word "uninstall" or "re-reforged" or "balance"), or if I'm looking to see if a certain resource edit or something has been attached somewhere in that thread, the most efficient thing to do is to open every single page and ctrl+f search it.
This kind of "linear access" is ofc the same problem motivating all of the current search suggestions, but yeah, having "random access" to the contents of a thread would be a game-changer for me.
Sure, I can use the search bar, but the results don't show the full posts, so I still have to click on each one. Just being able to ctrl+f the entire thread at once would be nice.
