Summary:
Well, im working on a new map that isnt Aos anymore(yey!). Anyways it's gonna be on beta test in about 2-3 weeks.
Its an offense map with both teams having each a fortress, 1 hero per player and buyable armies per player. The objective of the game is to kill the enemy king.

Features:
-Each castle features 4 entrances(main gate, backdoor, 2 watergates)
-Each castle comes with a defensive mini fortress and a giant catapult in front
-Each castle comes with training grounds so u can buy units
-Hereos are create-ur-own type wid spell limits to balance (ex. max of 2 dmg spells)
-Features tons of triggered and custom spells(some taken from other AoS maps -i knw unoriginal, but it's hard to see those spells in a create-ur-own-hero map; so its still is kinda semi-unique)
-No, not all spells are unoriginal, it contains a lot of original ideas by me
-All spell damage at final levels are either based on str, agi or int
-Max of 40 pop cap for each player and all units (cept for heroes) cost 1 food
-Castle walls are walkable so archers can bring death from above
-Units on top of walls gain bonuses
-Yes, the map name are taken from two diff things (a game and a comic)
-Heroes can train out of battle in a special section in the castle(training grounds)
-Not item centered so no recipes and supergod items...just altered wc3 items
-All spells of non hero units are autocast and passives to give an easier micromanagement system
-Reinforcements will fill ur missing pop slots once in a while
-Features a fairly nice terrain with lotsa doodads...(i got the-add-flowers-complex)
-After finished I will regularly add contents such as additional spells, units and items
-Will Contain approximately 15 heroes at start and at least 50+ spells

Progress: Unit 50%, Buildings 90%, Terrain 80%, Spells 30%

Beta Release: 2-3 weeks from now
Map Completion: 1-1 1/2 months
Final Output (with all the custom content i want already added): 2 months
(Might change due to number of homeworks I have)

Misc:
*when i mean unoriginal, it dosent mean i stole the code...i made my own codes from scratch that somewhat emulates or is close to some Aos Spells

Please post here if you have any suggestions or complains about the map so I can edit it before Beta comes.

Ok well you posted the 2nd screenshot twice. Now about the map.

While the terrain is alot better then some of the other stuff I have seen, it definatly has alot of room for improvement. For example in the 2nd pic, theres hardly nothing outside the walls except for that little hill with the trees on top, apart from that its all flat.

As for the features in the map, well theres nothing there that to me really makes this map stand out from all the other Offense maps out there. All of those things to me seam like small things, and theres nothing really standing out.

Another tip for the terrains, dont use the blizzard cliffs. Its ok for the walls, but the dirt one just looks completly unnatural to me. I like using the raise tool for hills and then using pathing blockers to make sure that the player can't go on them, and then setting the tile on the moutain to rock, or something else like that.

Village builder? I dont even know dat hahaha About the nothing on the second pic's outside walls...well the terrain aint complete yet so im gonna add a wargrounds later to that. About the "flatness" issue...most of the terrain except for the wargrounds and bases are not flat...ill fix the 2nd pic error and add the right one, it'll showcase the hills and all. About originality and features, i'm bad at those things but the best i can offer is some spells (hopefully) you've never seen before. Okay how bout i add an AoS mode? Tho the spells arent built for AoS i guess it'll make a great fun nonserious extra feature.

About the cliffs, damn that's hard! Haha i dont think I have enough time to add the cliffs with raise tool, dat'll kill me. Maybe i could get a partner to do just dat? Well it's more likely i'll keep the cliffs that way rather than modding them all out with raise tool.

its just sounds like other maps ... castle again , kill the king again , sounds like lot of other similar maps .

tip - to create good map u need new ideas ( its sounds like hero wars with big castle and some AOS ideas... )

Mehn is originality the only thing to judge on? I mean yea there are maps like this b4 but I've always wanted to make my own map such as this. Ofcourse you can expect the heroes and spells i'll try my best to exclude myself in those areas, but the map structure itself....well how do you then judge all those td maps? arent they all the same? I know its your standard offense map, but i will try for it to become the standard offense map. I've already satrted the whole frame work so myt as well complete it.

I'll add as much ideas i can including, tho not promising:
-allows the king to escape through the back entrance but his position will be revealed to the enemy once in x seconds
-allows you to use passive towns to rebuild an army after they take over your castle
-allowing player to capture enemy unit structures
-as much as things i want to add, i dnt want to make this a really long game...

Well I remember that back when me and Ralle were thinking of making an AOS, we were thinking of adding quests to the map, like as an extra thing people could do if they were bored, or wanted to get some quick gold, a reward or something else. Perhaps if you want you can do that in this map?

Anyways here's a long lost update, anyways im still far from done due to the amount of work at hand and im planning at least 96 abilities to be chosen from at initial release and im at 36 so far..... still a long way...im planning most of them to be trigger based so its really hard to come up with ideas hahaha
