Old Maps Not Working

To Whom This Concerns,

If this has been asked and answered, my apologies. As we all know a patch a few years back was released and effectively killed a large percentage of maps to no longer be playable. If you attempt to play you get a message saying "Can not load map data". Or if it does load, it simply has nothing inside of it other than a few basic objects etc, rendering it to be unplayable.

I'm not that tech savvy at all. So my question is if someone would be willing to (if its easy) work up an old map/rpg i've been trying to get to work. Or if there is a tutorial I can be pointed too with some hope of success on restoring this old map.

Me and others have fixed several maps there.

What you have to do depends on what the old map uses.
If it's just simple I2H (return bug) usage, it can be easily fixed, but I don't think a tutorial exists.
