Ogre Mage Draenor (WoW)

This bundle is marked as pending. It has not been reviewed by a staff member yet.
I ported this model from World of Warcraft as a request from @Mikebenjamin. It features a Ogre Mage from Draenor (Alternate).

Lore:
"Due to the ogres' distant descent from the primordial stone giant Grond, a creature empowered by the titan Aggramar, they are naturally attuned to the arcane. They hold a special affinity for the earth, able to use arcane power to shape and bend rock and stone to their will."

  • The model and it's textures have been optimized
  • Adjusted camera portrait
  • Renamed all the animations correctly
  • Attached a staff from WoD expansion
  • Fixed attachment points

Ogre Mage Draenor (WoW) (Model)

Of course can't

That's why there was a question "who moderates his own", after all, its resources must also be verified
Sure, the Hive works on a volunteer basis so sometimes the number of reviewers/moderators for a section is limited. For the textures section, when it comes to my resources I get someone else to review them (user posts can be marked as reviews) and then get someone else with moderation powers to apply the relevant rating based on the user's review. But yeah as it stands a moderator/reviewer will never moderate their own resources :)

I meant Navy
Sure, which was why I gave an example of how Navy could choose to have his own resources moderated fairly using a similar system of getting a user to leave a review that then gets marked as a review and someone else with moderation powers like me for example then applying the moderation rating based on that user's review (as long as the review is in-depth enough and by someone with the necessary expertise). This is Warcraft 3 hobby porting of models not the international Olympics, so let's be real, it's not like we're dealing with some great issue of possible corruption or anything too heavy. Just as long as everyone's onboard and happy with how things are being done and that any obvious conflicts of interest are being avoided I think works.

Shouldn't this conversation be happening somewhere else? It has no relevancy to this post. If overground peeps are concerned about my uploads they should realize that unless a big boss from Blizzard Entertainment has a problem I will port and upload all the models that I want. Nobody from underground owns world of warcraft and their games, so this whole entitlement thing that they are the only ones allowed to port is delusional.

You're right, this conversation is a little off-topic, so if anyone else has any concerns about moderation I suggest they contact me or any other admins via Admin contact in the forums :)

We're always open to suggestions on how to improve things and I know Navy's been doing a great job so it would be cool if his own ports were able to be moderated and not left perpetually in pending lol.

By moderated they mean "allowed" (they try to push that if I don't port a model 100% myself it shouldn't be allowed) ,all the models that I've uploaded are tested in-game before. So they work fine. Their only concern is that nobody will join overground and beg for models, since their goal is to hoard all the models for themselves. But that is over. Nobody will care about them since I am doing requests from everyone for free. Overground.

Dude

everything you said is not what was discussed here. Instead, you decided to invent something completely different

you completely sanely read what was said about “So if you are moderating other people’s ported models, who is moderating yours”

And nothing more was said.

You can do whatever your heart desires and no one has stopped you.

But you definitely shouldn’t insult or invent shameful lies

Nothing was invented and no insults were used. The victim card you try to play now.. maybe it would had worked but there are way too many people who joined underground ,asked for models and all they got in exchange was a toxic behavior. So try something else :)

I think it's time to end this charade now, since Henry's concern about who is moderating my resources has no place here. If you have a problem, you can consider submitting a ticket. Otherwise the subject is closed.

Edit:
Also this is not the first time I have my posts targeted with comments that have no relevancy to the post itself by underground people so it starts feeling like harassment which I can report based on site rules: Site Rules

Dunno why but it feels like somebody from Warcraft Underground hurt your feelings. I’m saying this because the way you respond the messages are little bit aggressive.

Back to my comment, this ogre chest pieces are not attached properly to the chest bones so I recommend you have another look, this was the whole point of the message buddy.

I took screenshots of all the endless trash talk you and your acolytes did on your discord group about me and Hive workshop. After 5 years of this section having no mod you suddenly care about who is "moderating my models". So stop pretending to be ‘neutral’ here. At least own up to your arrogance and hypocrisy instead of acting like you're above it all.

The model does not display any gamebreaking issues. I will take a closer look when I have more free time. I have thousands of old models to upload and port new ones and I won't give credit for a 10 minute "slop" port ;)

You know , i don't really mind again you porting this assets here at all. But what i mind is that you have no idea on what you are doing here as a reviewer, because it looks like you have no knowledge about this assets at all. Also about my acolytes trash talking about you, yeah i think they are trash talking because who likes leachers? xD who likes thieves ? I though you are representing Hive, and oh boy Hiveworshop is none of them :D So boi think twice before typing nosense because can't take you seriously.

Nice try, but trying to discredit my knowledge by calling me a 'thief' or 'leecher' doesn’t change the fact that you’re still attacking someone for sharing models and doing the work. I’ll continue doing my part for the community without wasting time on baseless insults. You should also remember that Hive is about sharing knowledge and content, not hoarding it."

Then we should call you Ported Models Leacher :D
Keep throwing around that term if it makes you feel better, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m contributing to the community. You’re free to think whatever you want, but I’ll continue porting and sharing resources because that’s what this platform is for: helping people.
