Hi guys.

I just realized a flaw with Warcraft 3 Editor. I'm not sure if there's a known way to solve this. I bet someone here must have know about this.

When a map is saved as a non melee map. It's object data tend to be reverted to 1.07 irregardless of what version it's being saved in. This is a problem because if I want to make a modified melee map, my default untouched units now have the data of 1.07version.

I just realized, wyvern rider needs fortress , Gryphon aviary needs castle , etc etc. ( all this have been revamped in patch 1.12 )

So .... any solution?

before editing anything, any attempt to export object data isn't possible.

w3o ( exported object data ) only record what's been EDITED.

Anyway figured out already if someone is wondering:
1) world editor under map properties have a blank for DATA set which actually tells the map where to load 'default' data from.
2) to merge SLK . you have to edit the widgetizer's SLK inputs folder.
