She started as a testbed for a workflow I had in mind. The goal was to put all of my skills to use and see how much I can squeeze from vanilla textures and repurpose them at creating something new and more modern. I deliberately wanted to stick to good, old SD style and make this asset moreless fitting to vanilla models, but with polycounts similar to work of Jab1z, Johnwar, Assssvi and others. Textures are a result of complex path of pixels going though upscale using Cupscale soft, bake in Blender and complete repainting by hand in Photoshop.

The community seems to be liking the result, so I decided to contact @Greedy Procrastinator to ask for a collab... And oh boi, he proved to be insanely skilled when it comes to animating things one more time. Just watch her dancing :].

She's fully UVed and comes with dedicated textures. I mapped her as carefully as I can, knowing how skilled texture artists we host in the community :].
Original textures are 2048^2px PNG. Contact me if you want higher-res.

Attack animations are too complex, the model really needs something like "one hit attack" (prefferable at least one for main hand and off-hand), since otherwise it is hard to implement in game + it looks too... Different compared to other units having simple animations.
Nevertheless, the model is just astonishing, so I can't give it less than 5.0 <3

naah its good and the other animations are meant for a specific game map i assume, not just the normal melee playstyle ones. If playing this one on a normal melee map and as a Hero, the other animations wont be used such as the ones with Lumber/Gold etc coz Hero dont have Gather Resources ability unless you make trigger scripts for them to be used or put the Gather ability on their Ability List or required animation tag in their data in the Object Editor. Also the animations can be useful for some cinematic actions.

You are right, it could be more practical. I actually was asked by Nyctaeus to transfer some animations from my old rogue knightess model variation with two swords (i deleted it because i made it look terrible).

The model didn't have bones so i added them, but still, the rogue knightess animation was my first practice at that time, so it had weird legs and torso and arms moving during transfer (it transfered not as intended) to blademistress model. So i decided to keep just the "run" sequence (look at gif) and attack slam (spin attack, but i removed the first milliseconds feint) and made all from scratch. I still dont like the kick though, im proud of stand ready

Well if you ever find time for simpler attack animation I would really apperciate it. I'm making some simple extended-melee-style maps just for me and mah friends and I would really like to use your Blademistress. I've even tried to do it myself but I'm too bad with animation and modeling.
Did some edits adding more TC and dying her hair, though (attaching it just in case if someone needs that version, small edit, doesn't require separate post)

And stand ready is indeed a pinnacle of animation, can't stop looking at her bouncing boobs :Ъ

Zero-alc, though, since I don't think I'll come to Yakutsk. But you guys have there Lavka or Samokat, right?
