I was wondering how to change the names of the attack types like piercing, siege, magic, etc. and if i can add more.

the name or the values?

for the values you have to go to the Gameplay constants and alter them

Advanced>Gameplay constants

to change the name of the piercing, chaos etc you have to change them at the game interface

Advanced>Game Interface

There you can alter all your command buttons, command lines etc.

There are a set of attacks that are only given, so essentially you cant create more.

The attack types are Chaos,Normal,Piercing,Siege,Magic,Spells, Heros

There is no way to add more, sadly

yes, but you will have to modify wc3 and have the other players download your modified verision, xP
