I'm having a problem with the 2nd boss, i know that i have to hide behind the pillars to dodge his fire nova but my character keeps moving behind the pillars, so i keep getting hit by fire nova.

Is this some new bug?
What do i need to do to finish my job change?

Er, I don't quite understand what you're asking.

You're saying, "i know that i have to hide behind the pillars to dodge his fire nova but my character keeps moving behind the pillars, so i keep getting hit by fire nova."

Moving behind the pillars is exactly what you have to do. What exactly is the problem? Are you still getting hit if you move behind it?

So yeah, can't really help you with how you worded your sentence, and no, there is no known bug about the squire quest.

Hmm could you post a replay of this happening? There may be something you aren't doing correctly, because this is the first time I've heard of this.

Are you behind the pillar before he casts it, or are you running behind it while fire nova is already casted?

I already seen this happening with my friends too.
Fire nova is indeed hitting people behind the pillars sometimes, I don't have any replay showing it though.

Just run out of the nova range, it is ideal moment to use the salve thus, if you are as far as possible, it isnt bad at all. Btw, I never tried to hide behind the pillars and it always seemed to me that they dont protect from nova =)

yeah what zwiebel says is true i noticed that problem with my squire aswell (500 ms ping and about 4-6 beers) with my real life delay and the internet delay i died several times.

the problem is the autoattack which forces your char to move back to the enemy. try to click right in the area behind the pillar and you are fine.

If you have delay online, I'd suggest doing it on LAN, simply hosting a game and starting it solo. It will also allow you to remake if you lose too much gold.

Remember to press H once behind the pillar.
