MY SPELL DUNT WORK - HELP PLS PLS PLS

Im making an AVP map - and to bring a victim back to the alien hive to spawn an alien the other aliens must "kidnap" a neutral person.

I used a mixture of spells and triggers to try and get the effect. i used the ensnare spell and added a trigger that sadi "a unit begins casting ensare, teleport unit instantly to random point in region 006"

And beleive it onr not when i come to test it......it doosent wurk!!!! AARGGHH!!!!!

DONT USE BEGINS CASTING!!!! Its Bugged. Use Starts Effect of Ability! and learn Grammatic example: DUNT! :roll:

Now, unless you give us more details about the triggers, I'm afraid we can't help you. Give us more details about the trigger you made and about the spell of course.

Here is my spell (prepeare to be amazed)

the spell itself is simply the ensnare spell with an altered missile art (its got to look cool you know).

The trigger is : A unit begins casting an ability

Ability being cast equal to Kidnap
(ensare)

unit-move unit instantly to random
point in region 006

And its busted (not "dunt work" :lol: )

first off listen to redscores do not use Unit Begins Casting An Ability, that proves to be buggy, used Unit Starts The Effect Of An Ability.
And what are you putting in for "Unit" on that action?
if you are using Target unit Of Ability Being Cast that should work (i dont like to use that personaly i use a variable). But if this is only part of the actions and another action has Taget Unit Of Ability Being Cast you must make a variable.
"Target Unit Of Ability Being Cast" can only be reffered to once in a trigger. (Unless it is a variable)
