My mdx keeps changing to mdl

My mdx keeps changing to mdl even when i import it i set Art-(Importedfile)
and it doesent work. It always keeps changing to mdl and model won't work. How do i fix this?

it automatically changes to mdl once you set it to a unit, don't worry its normal. and did you save and restart world editor after you assign the imported model to a unit?
