My Computer Problem

Okay so this isn't necessarily a request for help with the actual editor such as creation, triggers, etc whatever. I gotta REAL problem...

All my maps I've ever fucked with use to be a separate .xxx from the other maps that you download or play through warcraft 3 custom games itself, but not they're all w3x???? And i can't open them!!!

I do have it installed. i have windows 7.!!!! this is so irritating lol why did they get converted some how. how do i turn them back?

I think this happened before in the past, im almost positive, but then i found the thread online that i remembered, but it didnt have the same information, im kinda high btw, but i swear to god some weird shits up right now. but im pretty sure i fixed this before in the past. something to do with moving my warcraft 3 folders and a virtual store or some shit. but i just tried it and it didnt work or something. maybe my memory is just shit and im insane but ya

are all maps (that want to be played by people) updated to the frozen throne game? therefore making it it's editor. what are you trying to say.

Not really I guess.
As long as you saved your map without something to do with the Frozen Throne's stuff, it won't saved into .w3x.

Btw, what maps you're trying to open? The map you created or the map from the internet or both?

If you have TfT installed, your WE will open .w3x
If it doesn't anymore, save your customly made maps and reinstall wc3 completely.
