I hate what blizzard did to murlocs in TFT. They add'em spikes, and made them look more like mur'guls.

Perhaps the mur'guls were the original fish-men concept they had since the Beta version and wanted to put them for TFT as a variant.

But I like more the murlocs, they seem more fishy. In fact, I think I want an amphibious murloc model like in TFT but that looks like ROC's one.

Lore time

Mur'Gul are Murlocs who have had the unfortunant experiance of being affected by the Maelstrom.

Now, normal Murlocs are fierce in protecting their homes from invaders. However, Mur'Gul are sadastic and enjoy making other creatures suffer. The only thing a Mur'Gul fears are the Naga

Checking in a wc3 site is enough. Anyway, I always thought they had some relationship. Why do Mur'guls fear the Naga anyway?

-Rui

Perhaps coz they're bigger, stronger, have a better control over magic and both are amphibious creatures, so they cant escape in the sea as they would do from other land beigns. Besides I heard somewhere that when the NE turned into the Naga and fell into the sea, they ensalved the mur'guls as well as many other sea creatures.
