Model Importing Help

So this tutorial directed me to this forum for help.

I follow the instructions to the letter.

Imported Medic.blp and Medic.mdx
Put the correct custom path for the blp.

Changed the model file to the medic.

I still get a "Cannot load model file" along with a green box where the unit should be.

You need to save the map, close WE, restart WE and open your map again.
Then you are probably good to go.

Nope, even tried a different model and still the models are not working:

Which should be as simple as import and bind to a unit...

Instead when I load the map, cannot load file and its just a green/black box.

I find this all odd, as https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums...4837/?prev=search=Lich%20King&d=list&r=20&c=4 works just fine.

Do you have patched to the newest version? Sometimes this might be the problem.

I log into battlenet without any patches coming through.

This one works fine.

Could it be because the others don't have a portrait file?

Then again, https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/templar-48736/?prev=search%3DTemplar%26d%3Dlist%26r%3D20 also works just fine without one.

Very strange indeed.
But Medic and the BnG chick work just fine for me.

I attached a testmap with both models inside.

Well, I finally got it to work, routing the model in through the campaign editor.

But now I have another issue. The model/buttons load in the editor, but not in the test game. -_-
