Model Fix ASAP

I have recently tried my hand at modeling, and after asking for permission I have attempted to modefy some custom made heros for my project. (see sig). I have created the model however when it performs animations the head (part I have added on) goes all spasticated can anyone tell me why and how to fix or even better fix yourself?.
