The central cylinder doesn't seem to fit with the "mace" part, maybe you could wrap the entire end with that light grey/dark grey texture and leave the handle alone?

I must say. this is allmost as good as a wow mace. and Should blizzard have heart enough. (In my option, and if i was leading blizzard Art design department) I would hire you... for world of warcraft. as you. My Liege.. got not only skills. but appearntley also heart.. you should try (if you want to)... Present somethings like that for blizzard entertainment...
