As some of you may know (there were 100+ views of my topic in the requests area) I've been trying to convert WoW models, especially characters.

Well, when I got on this morning, and opened up My Warcraft Studio, and went to the MPQ archive I found that the patch-2.mpq was missing, and patch.mpq wouldn't open!

I think it may have been because of the patch last night.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Ah man, you're gonna hate this one

It appears that Blizzard changed the patch.mpq structure, in order to remove the need for patch2.mpq, so you can't open it with any old programs, aside from WinMPQ and anything that's been updated

So enjoy having to use WinMPQ =P

Aw, that sux!

I wonder if they did that on purpose to make it harder for us to convert files???

Ah well, I'll just get WinMPQ then Or does it cost money?

Urm...

I used WinMPQ, and actually managed to get it to open the model.mpq.

HOWEVER, as soon as it finished opening patch.mpq, it said:

Run-time error '6':

Overflow

When I exited the error, it closed WinMPQ.

Any ideas?
