I'm currently developing a mining system for a map I hope to finish. A heroes attributes play a huge factor in this system.
Strength is now called Mastery
-Governs the chance you will shatter a mineral vein while mining
-Governs the chance you will break your pickaxe while mining
Agility is now called Prospecting
-Governs the chance of finding a gem
-Governs the amount of ore you gather
Intelligence is now called Endurance
-Governs your total energy [Mana]
-Governs your movement speed
The system is almost complete and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of how to improve it or add on to the system. Also need need some feedback on making the mining ability cost initial mana or drain mana over time while mining and if using triggers or using an ability (Or both), would be easier to make intelligence increase your movement speed. Any suggestions are appreciated.
