[JASS] Messages like "not enough gold" with JASS

Is it possible to cause a message like "not enough gold" appear in the screen in its place (in the middle)? I don't know how to use JASS, but I think the experts can so this (or not).

First of all, GUI is JASS. Just an simpler way to use it , with the cost of effectivness. There is no other way than make text messages like you do in GUI.

that's not entirely true. there is a function printing error message in a way that they seem to be from the game rather than from a script.

its a custom code i saw a few weeks ago. it might be on this site, but i'm not shru eabout it. You may look through the files uploaded here, but you may also use google -> thats how i found it.

The function speak about is probably Vexorian's SimError or d'something similar. It uses the common display text native just with some configuration like position on the screen, color and a sound added.

WEU has a function Text Message To Player. You can configure x and y offsets, so if you need custom error messages, you can simulate them this way
