mdx converts into mdl??

mdx converts into mdl when ever i try import some of the models i found here on Hive. I do same as i did on some other models that work and even folowed instruction's put with models /path and other things. any way when i put it on unit .mdx become .mdl and unit is invisible/untargetable any idea whats going on?

Its normal that it turns into .MDL.

If the model is invisible, the texture path is wrong (the .BLP file).
