I'm fond at zombie, skirmish and survival games and I also loved the said Human Campaign so I decided to try to make a custom 2v2 map out of it. The terrain is not like in the campaign though, it's based on the canon pathing (except the Grain Caravan path, which I added some lolzing on it)

The main goal for Human players is to keep Mardenholde Keep alive for 20 minutes and the Undead players must destroy it before the time passes or they will be pressed hard. The human players can't build farms, their food limits are depended on the City Buildings which can be destroyed easily by the undead. No altars too, heroes are revived at Town Halls. The undead can turn villagers into Zombies which are faster than ghouls and skeletons and can also infect Human units into more Zombies.

After 20 minutes Uther spawns for Light Blue and Jaina spawns for Blue with a battalion of Knights and Priests. There is also a buff for Undead Towers which makes them really strong which loses after 20 minutes, which gives the Human players a chance to strike back. But to compensate for that, the Undead units get stronger as time passes with more incentives to keep sieging Mardenholde Keep like faster unit production and a global speed buff.

Heroes:
Arthas' Forces (Blue): Arthas Menethil and Falric (Demi-Hero)
Hearthglen Guard (Light Blue): Taelen Fordring and Isillien (Demi-Hero)
Undead Pillagers (Purple): Helcular, Malicia and Darbel Montrose (Demi-Hero)
Undead Ravagers (Orange): Ras Frostwhisper and Venim Iceblade

Units available:

Arthas' Forces:
  • Footmen - Defend
  • Riflemen - Longer Rifles - Scatter Shots (Flak Cannon)
  • Mortar Team [Limited to 2] - Fragmentation Shards - Burning Oil
  • Priest (High Elf) - Heal - Dispel Magic - Inner Fire
  • Sorceress - Light's Curse (Faerie Fire) - Invisibility - Polymorph
  • Hydromancer - Slow - Frost Armor - Crushing Wave

Hearthglen Guard:
  • Axe Armsman - Evasion - Defend
  • Spearman - Evasion - Defend - Envenomed Spears
  • Knight (Limited to 2) - Hardened Skin - Animal War Training
  • Priest (Human) - Heal - Light's Blessing (Rejuvenation) - Soothe (Stronger version of Spirit Touch)
  • Purifier [Blood Mage] - Peace (Remove Corpse) - Ray of Disruption - Purify (Remove Debuffs + Burst Heal)
  • Templar [Spell Breaker] - Defend - Magic Immune - Hardened Skin - Holy Burst (Cluster Rockets)

Undead Pillagers:
  • Ghoul - Ghoul Frenzy - Cannibalize
  • Zombie - Infect (Parasite that spawns another Zombie)
  • Skeleton Archer (turns into Burning Archers on upgrade) - Improved Bows ( - Searing Arrows - Marksmanship)
  • Giant Skeleton - (turns into Bone Cutters on upgrade) Cleaving Attack - Critical Strike ( - Frenzy)
  • Necromancer - Raise Dead - Unholy Frenzy - Cripple
  • Banshee - Curse - Anti-Magic Shield - Mass Silence
  • Cultist - Raise Dead - Carrion Swarm - Devour Magic

Hearthglen Tower.png
Hearthglen Tower (later renamed in WoW as Taelen's Tower), the first line of defense.

Outside House.png
"We'll fight for Lordaeron! Get your swords!" Light Blue gets Demi-Hero Cavalier Durgen and Blue gets Footmen

Ogres.png
"Ogres have run down the hills, it appears they were looking for a fight."

Intro.png
The village at the intro cinematic. The grain was just about to be distributed to the upper villages when Arthas, Jaina and Falric arrived.

City Proper - 2.png
The city proper, with Mardenholde Keep at the top. There are some bandits on the top portion for Human Players to creep on. Notice the Barrel of Explosives at the upper left and the graveyard at the top center.

Northridge Lumber Mill.png
Northridge Lumber Mill, the thing which makes it valuable is the +atkspd aura which means faster lumber harvest. And it can sell lumber to gold. The rock chunks can be destroyed manually by the undead players. The lumber mill also has 500 lumber bounty to both Purple and Orange.

Bandit Cave.png
Something for Undead Players to creep on.

The undead also has a side quest of Grain Caravan in which at least one wagon must be brought safely to the last village. The caravan must fight his way on the village guardsmen and slay the five captains stationed by Arthas. Succeeding this quest can mean a lot as it can bypass the dreaded Hearthglen Tower. The Human players can't do anything to stop them and it's inevitable but the least they could do is to harass their units constantly to delay them.

Grain Caravan.png
The route of Grain Caravan, it starts at 8 minute mark and the rock chunks open 1:30 minutes after killing the Captain. So the earliest time to open the west Hearthglen Entrance is 15:30 minutes (+ time spent on killing Captains). There is also a creep mob on the road to West Hearthglen.

Since its' my first custom map, I assume it would take around 6 months to finish. I can't even make the Line of Sight Blocker really walkable.

Progress:
Techtree: 90% (Needs more Undead mobs)
Terrain: Almost Done
Cinematic: 0%
Triggers: 0%
Customization: 10%
Unit placements: 80%
Any feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, The Project seems Promising. However please, Please, PLEASE, PLEASE don't use Normal Blue in you Description. Because:
1. It's not readable.
2. It doesn't fit with yellow
3. It is ugly with gray-brown Background
4. All those above

Anyway, good luck on your project. :)

Okay, I just realized that too. Sorry.
