I have just a few questions on posting maps on the Hiveworkshop.
I read the rules and was wondering if you needed to just give credit to those who have created resources that you are using in your project, or if you need to ask them individually if you have permission. I have been looking around all over the site for information more on this but haven't been successful in my search. Please help, and thanks!

By uploading here, the authors agree that you can use the uploaded ressource for a direct import into a map. Like chilla_killa said, if you want to edit it in anyway, ask the author for permission, since this permission is not included in uploading. Anyways. Most authors say that you have to credit them when using their ressources. And even if they do not, I really suggest you - as a sign of honouring effort of those who created the ressources - to give credits for them!

Hm, what if you use an old resource (one you downloaded several months/year(s) ago) and is, somehow, unable to track down it's original location on the web(site), so you can't find the authors name on the web nor in a readme-file..

Would an alternative credits do?
E.g.

Thanks to all of the authors of the imported resources.
etc. etc.
