I added 0 new trrigers while this happend, all triggers on thet map are very simple like changing name for players and adding spellbooks to units.
all i have done that day was to import some models that all seem to work fine,

I was making map on reforged graphics for firt time,
i attached map file,
is there any way to open this map now?

It's because of a bad imported asset.

There's a way to recover it, this problem has happened to me and others as well. I just don't know how exactly... I imagine someone using an older version of Warcraft 3 can open it, save it as a new file, and upload it here. Then you should be able to open it as well (if not, they may need to delete the bad imports before uploading it).

In the future make sure to make backups. Also, you definitely want to use this "save as folder" feature:

This will create a folder that contains your map files and most importantly it has all of your imported assets:
map as folder.png

This means that you can modify your imports without even having the World Editor open, so you could delete the bad models.

Do you mind helping us out by downloading the map from the first post, saving it as a new file, and attaching it to your post. We need someone on an older version to do it. It should only take someone 30 seconds to fix his issue. You MAY need to delete the imported files in the map, but I recall having my issue fixed without the need for that.

Although, on second thought we probably need someone with v1.31. Or maybe I'm misremembering entirely and this won't even work...

First of all, 1.31 cannot open reforged maps without using Map Adapter due to Object Editor incompatibility (Level Data missing/invalid). I use Map Adapter to gain access but some stuff to note:
1. As you can see in the object editor, some strings related data have gone missing due to the conversion; yeah, it's quite a work to rewrite those back
2. There might be some minor errors, however the map should be accessible now
3. I added a zip that has the folder structure of this map as alternative

If it is still not openable in 1.36, I can arrange for a full import cleanup and provided the files with those changes as well

Both files are tested and compiled for 1.31

I'm not on pc right now. However, given the 1.26 limitations, I'm not sure it can handle a 51 MB map.

Had to double post otherwise people might miss this, but I tried to re-compile the one without zip again since I might have forgotten to force a compile after adapting. Hopefully this time it sticks and open as smooth as butter.

EDIT (merged previous post):

Just need it to be accessible in an older version. 1.26 can handle 51 MB maps, just that it cannot load it in LAN without custom files.

I'll give it a shot once I get to the map editor.

Edit: I can't open it. I get the same error message as I've got from Uncle's maps.
