I'm working on the first map I've ever made now [Alas, Andorhal]

Terrain:

Basically, near half the map is comprised of Hearthglen,Bastion of the Scarlet Crusade, the other half includes areas of the Western Plague including various Farmsteads and Scourge overthrown Andorhal, which is secluded from the mainland by two rivers and connected by 2 or 4 bridges. The blight from andorhal laps out like flames from the center of the town, destroying the forest and farmsteads across the river and leaving other areas untouched for the time being. Hearthglen is surrounded by very large stone walls and gates, however there may be a secret way in through the connected crypts on the inside and outsides of the fortress.

Unit Production:

Instead of it being more similar to a melee map in terms of units, there will be spawns that will only spawn if the certain building they are connected to is alive. For instance, if you're the scourge, your flesh giants will only spawn if your Great Fissure is alive. Or if you're the Scarlet Crusade, your Elite Paladins may only spawn if you've protected the Head Priest and Cathedral thus far. Upgrades for your units can be bought via either harvesting our bounty from killing the other teams units.

Creeps

Instead of having mundane animal creeps sparsely placed around the map, The Alliance and Horde encapments will be used as "creeps" because both the Scarlets and the Scourge are enemies of the Azerothian races. Encapments like Chillwind Camp and areas like the Bulwark will house Humans, Orcs, Forsaken and the like.

Custom Heroes and Uncommons:

Custom heroes - Scourge
:

1st Horseman - Thane Kor'Thazz (Fiery undead dwarf deathknight)
Abilities: Fireball, Immolate, Cleave, Avatar

2nd Horsewoman - Lady Blaumeux (Poisonous woman deathknight)
Abilities: Shadow strike, Sleep, Acid Bomb, Death and Decay

3rd Horseman - Sir Zeliek (Fallen paladin deathknight)
Abilities: Holy Light, Devotion Aura, Healing Spray, Divine Shield

4th Horseman - Lord Mograine (Warrior Deathknight)
Haven't thought up any abilites but they will probably be more melee combat oriented

Haven't decided whether or not to put Kel'Thuzad in or not yet.

Uncommon:

Sapphiron - Kel'thuzad's Frost Wyrm
Abilities: Devour, Frost Nova, Freezing Breath, Animate Dead

The Butcher - Very large, towering flesh abomination
(no abilities yet)

Scarlet Crusade Heroes

The crusaders will only have a small number of heroes / units, but they will be elite compared to the scourge

Highlord Taelan Fordring - Highlord of the Scarlet Crusade
Abilities: Holy Light, Consecrate, Devotion Aura, and one more.

High General Bridgette Abbendis: Intellectual Hero
Flamestrike, Holy Light, Turn Undead, Divine Shield

and one more might do it.

Uncommon:

Hearthglen Paladin - Most powerful Scarlet unit, will have several abilities and be able to fight groups of weaker undead solo.

Bastion Riflemen - Have very low health, But pack a very large punch with extreme damage and critical strikes.

Renault Mograine - Lower level paladin, A bit weaker than the Scarlet Crusade heroes yet still a very powerful asset.

I have almost all of the terrain done, the majority of the triggers and half the heroes so far.
