Mana-steal Spell

How could i create a spell that would be the equivalent of life-steal, but instead of hp, mana would be stolen on hit?

You will need this: http://www.wc3c.net/showthread.php?t=100618/, in order to check whether the damage is physical and then set the mana of the damage source to what you want and remove mana from the unit under attack. Information as to how it is used is included.

If it doesn't matter that all damage you deal is converted to mana (including spell damage), you could also use GDD damage detection.

When the damage is detected, just increase the GDD_DamageSource's Mana by using Unit - Set Mana Value action
