[General] Loot disappears after changing owner

I have two boss units that are neutral passive and they become player 6 when you kill all the trash. They have their own item table drops. I tested killing them without changing their owner and they drop the items, but if kill them after they were neutral passive and then become level 6 they have no items. Weird... Any ideas?

Trigger the item drops. When the unit dies, you create the wanted items at his position. If they are probabilities, then use an integer variable, set it to a random number according to the chances of getting the items then for every number assign a different item.

I don't want to trigger loot. Then how to make this unit to not attack my heroes while it's still player 6? I can't make it sleep with properties line, trigger, and dummy spell...

edit: will it work If I put the items in the inventory of the bosses and they will drop?

Can you use player ally status? Alternatively, you could disable their attack ability temporarily by using Orc Burrow ablity with 0 capacity.
