Also you need to specify your skills and which part of map development you are good in.

I am good in triggers (but not jazz) and other things like environment is not problem.

If yes then there is probably a ton of projects that will readily accept you if you apply.

But that is assuming you are actually good at terraining.
I suggest you first create a cool terrain so that you have something to show.
