Looking for a Strange version of Warcraft 3

So this was a very old warcraft game I played. This was back 2015, back when I was a happy teenager without the care of the world.

Why is it strange? Cause unlike the other versions, this warcraft version has the map already being visible. Like, no need to type "iseedeadpeople" Cheat, I can fully see the map while playing the game. But for some reason, the fog of war is still in effect despite the fully visible map.

There was also the abilities. In every version of Warcraft 3, you can't see your allies and enemy spells. This version on the other hand, has spells being visible to the non-playable units, and you can even click it. (you can't trigger ability though, that's the thing).

This just sounds like a Warcraft III version with maphack lmao

Curious, never really heard of this mod. Does it only affect the custom maps? Because the old version I had also affected the campaign one aswell.
Maphack is a cheat for Warcraft III that basically allows you to do what you described, specifically made for multiplayer but works everywhere. It's a hack to gain a competitive advantage over your opponent(s), like you'd use aimbot in CS:GO for example.
Seems like your wc3 version came embedded with it.

Ahhh... Finally have the answer all this year's. I didn't really bother checking it because I wasn't really into mods back in the day.

I guess it had to due with the version being pirated, so maybe that's also the reason. Since it was my brother who downloaded it somewhere just to play Dota.

I'm quite wondering the maphack is still functioning though? Like, does it still work for 1.30 up until reforged?

This is started to sound like a creepypasta o_O
I mean. This was back on 2015, lol. Creepy pasta was all the rage back in the day.

I don't think it still works, there's a lot less security exploits compared to something like 1.21 or 1.26.
