Decent, looks nice, et cetera..
You could think about adding a gradient plane to the inner parts/slashes, to emphasize depth.
Currently it more or less just melts with the circle parts.

Do you think you could make wooden plank(s)? I'd do it myself- it's easy enough but I don't have any programs which create vertices from scratch.
