Limbo of the Lost Orginal page: Link.
An attentive reviewer on the website GamePlasma took some environments in the adventure Limbo of the Lost suspected known. What appeared: they were directly copied from Oblivion. Not only is the layout of the rooms right, even the textures and various small details, his one-on-one taken from the winner of Bethesda Softworks. The following screenshots speak for themselves:
Left: Oblivion, Right: Limbo of the Lost
Left: Oblivion, Right: Limbo of the Lost
The developer of Limbo of the Lost, Majestic Software, has not yet responded to this message, nor the publisher of the game G2 Games. Bethesda also has nothing to be heard.
Limbo of the Lost has been a considerable time in development and is only a small number of people. It is the first game of the ontwikkelstudio.
Update: Website The Escapist, the parties concerned asked for response. Publisher of Limbo of the Lost, Tri-Synergy, has no comment but looks with the developer to the case. Bethesda says opposite Strategy Informer also to comment to abstain, in order then to add: "But the screenshots speak for themselves. Our legal department is looking forward."
Update 2: Publisher Tri-Synergy will facilitate the distribution of Limbo of the Lost cease until further notice. The official statement reads as follows: "Tri-Synergy is just as shocked as everyone else by the recently published screenshotcomparatives. At no time during the negotiations with Majestic Studios, until these comparisons were made publicly, we had knowledge of these agreements." It adds that contacts with Majestic Studios but that it has not yet responded.
Meanwhile, people already known that Limbo of the Lost not only steals from Oblivion, there are environments that are highly consistent with Thief: Deadly Shadows, Unreal Tournament 2004, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, Diablo 2, Silent Hill 3, Painkiller and the Spawn movie.
Limbo of the Lost is not a complete 3D game. Only the characters are 3D, the backgrounds in the game are static. This means that it probably has screenshots taken from the various games to be used as background for Limbo of the Lost.
