i just thought that in the gargoyle quest there is no "real" reward except for the huge amount of exp and that since there is not alot of hamemrs in the game it would be nice if there was a way to transform the rune hammer into an actual weapon or something
 
in that case it would be possible to get something diffrent, maybe individual class rewards?
 
but i felt like there were very few hammers in the game and that this was a kinda missed place to add a nice hammer
 
When ppl speak about small amount of hammers in game, hunters and druids cry about crossbows (which never were in game)
 
i think the problem with the crossbows is that you need to change the character animation completely based on the weapon. now that i wrote that i think thats true for the berserker right?
 
It would require a new set of attack animations, yes.

Which isn't really a problem as I have a lots of experience with custom animations now (most of the new animations introduced are all custom made by me, since I'm sick of recycling WC3 anims).
The problem is: there aren't many crossbow models on hive.
