JassNewgen question

when i click test map using Jassnewgen it opens wc3 in a window that usually crashes and freezes :|
how can i test my maps normally?

Have you tried deleting the "TestMap.w3x" from the folder directory of "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\Test\TestMap.w3x (or WorldEditTestMap)"?

This happens for me also. Someone told me it works only for patch 1.21 so maybe you need to install w3 again and have a patched to 1.21 just for editing.

I dunno if this helps, but I always save the map right before testing. Otherwise it won't let me. : o

I had same problem too.

Try to uncheck following:
- Start Wa3 with -window
- Start Wa3 with -opengl

and
- Enable Reinventing The Craft

EDIT: Click ''Test Map'' button only in World Editor. It won't work if you click it in Object Editor/Trigger Editor...

It works fine with the new patch also. Something else must be the problem.

Generally, you have to save a map first before testing it, but not doing that doesn't crash wc3, it just shows you the welcome screen instead of loading the map.

Raid, do you you have original wc3? Have you read the troubleshooting?
