I've seen Tyrael without his hood up, in your face.

Enlarge if you must.

You have to admit that its appearance and color is reminiscent of Tyrael.
Quoting from National Geographic:

" Scanning the depths off the Philippines in 2007, an undersea robot beamed back video of a worm—or was it a squid, or a worm eating a squid?—with spiraling appendages, iridescent "oars," and a feathery "nose." "

Tentacles err, tendrils? Check. Golden color? Semi-check. Iridescent paddles? You decide.

Whatever, I'm just curious at what they look like without the damn hood.
Or...what that thing tastes like. The japanese will probably be the first to know.

That looks pretty awesome, when was it discovered? Does it has a name? Do you have a source? What IS it?

Late reply, sorry. New species off the coast of SE Asia. It is a bit different from what scientists have already seen, so they made a genus for it. Sceientific name is from a culture in the Philippines, where it was first spotted. It looks sexy. HONESTLY.
