The Island of Hope would likely be classified as just another average map template, but that isn't to say that's a bad thing. While generic, the map is definitely useful for small campaign chapters, cinematics, or simply as a resource to learn from. It likely isn't compatible with maps of other types due to the small map size and thin amount of walk way for ground units to traverse on, much less buildings to be placed on.​

The map is definitely not mostly empty nor cluttered. There is a fair amount of doodads placed all over along with decent tile usage along with a fair amount of critters. Perhaps its missing the pizzazz, but the map looks tidy and pleasant for most to see. It isn't great however, it's on the smaller side and not unique. Do note that none of these points below are of extreme importance.

➤ Some tiles around civilized and or structure type of decorations don't match. What I suggest is you get some of the "man-made" type of tiles (not rock, rock clashes with structure doodads) and place them near those structures. When doing so, I also suggest you make the vegetation type of tiles be over the tiles to keep that ruins feeling you have going on. Learn about terrain overgoes here.
➤ Some people get bothered by the negligence of aesthetic in the boundaries or edge of the map. I suggest you at least decorate with 50% of effort you did for the rest of the map on the boundaries and on the edges to achieve a smoother, more natural looking transition.
➤ The doodads in the water look unnaturally scattered across a designated chunk of the map. Try to reduce the use of the same doodad in other places, secluded all in one area used in the same way all the time.

If a map doesn't have a version number nor changelog, I'd always suggest to add one to prevent confusion. Your description is totally okay that way it is with those screenshots, and there isn't much more to add to explai the map. But should you expand the map and add more notable things, it would be best to add more information on it to make your map more attractive.​
