Importing terrain

Terrain is not a replaceable texture? Does that matter? Is there a way around this?

It seems odd to me that there are no tutorials on importing terrain, and i figure it's because terrain is not "replaceable". But that doesn't make sense since cliff tiles ARE.

And i've searched and searched before creating this thread. I've tried to use the basics for importing icons to get my terrain-mod to work but to no avail.

You are making no sense...

To import a terrain you need to find out what tileset or tile it was based out of and then replace the name.

example:

TerrainArt\Dalaran\Dalaran_WhiteMarble.blp

And for cliffs:

ReplaceableTextures\Cliff\Cliff0.blp

If this is not what you wanted look at this tutorial it is quite informative. If this sill is not right then please rephrase the question.
