Immolation with cooldown ?

I'm making a custom spell based on immolation and i need it to have a cooldown.Although when i activate it, it automatically starts the cooldown and i am able to deactivate it while that is happening.

Not sure if i'm missing something simple, but what i need is for the spell to go on cooldown when it gets disabled.

I found this also applies to Divine Shield. I recall using it as an ability for my heroes on my cancelled campaigns.

The guaranteed solution would be triggering the entire immolation itself. It's tricky, but truly get the job done.

Don't know where to start , can it be done with GUI ?

EDIT: Maybe that is not even needed, if i can trigger my spell differently.

Wanted to create a spell that give you +dmg on your next hit.Here are the triggers.
I - This trigger registers the hit after the ability is toogled on.
II - Add bonus damage and activate trigger I.
III - Removes bonus damage if the ability is manually toogled off.

IIRC the cooldown is visible and starts progressing once you turn it on but only takes effect after you turn it off again, so you won't be able to reactivate it. probably like that with all off/on type spells.
