Icon usage Help!

Hey, When i put Custom Icons onto spells it only works for ranks that are lower or the same level as the hero with them. If the spells with the icons are higher level that the hero, the icon will just turn green. Example..

Hero = level 6
Spell = level 7 required to learn.
Icon will be Green.

how can i fix this? is it bad icons? bad importing? or something else..
