To keep the icons in correct category and make finding certain categorie icons easier to find, make sure to read the list below to make sure where your icon belongs.

Therefore, Icon categories:

Abilities:To this section belong things such as abilities, skills and spells (example: BTNNerubBuild, BTNDrainLife, BTNRupture)

Buildings:To this section belong all type of buildings and some doodads (example:BTNGargoyleSpire, BTNFirePit, BTNNocturnium)

Command Buttons:To this section belong all Icons that are used to execute specific commands such as: Buld, Attack, Exit Building; (example:BTNHoldPosition, BTNExit, BTNBuildTower)

Icon Packs:To this section belong single or multiple similar icons packed in ZIP archive.

Items:To this section belong objects such as: Piece of armor, weapons, rings, books; (examples:BTNPaladin_signet_ring,BTNBladeoftheDarkIcelord)

Miscelanous:To this section belong all things that are not realated/belong in any other section (example: BTNSansui, BTNFinger, BTNYrden)

Units:To this section belong various beings, such as: orcs, demons, elves, dragons; (example:BTNSeaDrake, BTNDarkProphet, BTNFellBeast)

Upgrades:To this section belong icons that show advanced/additional ways of certain abilities, such as: Attack power, health(life) and mana. (example:BTNDemonMalee, BTNDemonArmor, BTNOrcishStrenght)

Sections not mentioned here are locked and you are not allowed/you can't post into them.
