it is very annoying how that a few of those periods results in ........... witch is most distracting when reading something "Yeah so when i did the thing............ it stuffed up and......... well.........." but then again if you constructed a sentance like that it would piss off people anyway (dot dot dot dot). My suggestion is to retaliate with saying (dot dot dot dot dot dot) instead of a thread of commas.
