We'll need more details on what you tried to change and what exactly is happening. Clicking something like "Quests (F9)" turns it into a placeholder green block?
Not just the placeholder. Clicking on Quests, Logs, Main Menu, eveywhere, just selecting anything, even the buttons to the right of the minimap shows the green color.
I wanted to import a certain TD trigger from that map into mine, but I changed my mind, so I removed all that I added. Tested the map and ended up with this result.
It sounds like your memory has been corrupted. Try closing down everything and rebooting it. If that doesn't work, try restarting your PC. This is assuming all changes you made have been cleared as you stated.
The Use Custom Game Interface option is checked, but nothing is changed and as for the imported files:
BTNHumanBarrack.blp Image/Texture 10 war3mapImported\BTNHumanBarrack.blp
BTNTowerLookout.blp Image/Texture 10 war3mapImported\BTNTowerLookout.blp
Build.mdx Model 101 war3mapImported\Build.mdx

WatchTower.mdx Model 22 war3mapImported\WatchTower.mdx
I don't think those imported files are the cause here. I wanted to follow the tutorial from Custom TD v 1.0 and posted some triggers from there into my map, but I changed my mind, so I removed those triggers. I saved the map, tested it and got those ugly green colors.
