I hate that

I have downloaded the Human Tief Model, set his attachment points as Hand Left Ref and Hand Right Ref and yet when I set buff attachment point to hand, left weapon is in his right hand! I have checked the bone of the attachment, position of attachment and nothing. Any ideas? Crazy I count on your help.
