that is a resource from hive?Interesting start. But what if:
It is notthat is a resource from hive?
well, I think I'm going to delete my icon and use the one you showed me, where can I download it?It is notIt is exactly the same icon but taken from Reforged and recolored just as you did with the one from the classic xD
That's not how it works! You see, same as you I'm not really awesome at creating my own icons. I simply go for good recolors with minor adjustments or avatar icons for certain custom models/skins but when it comes to upload an icon you should keep in mind that even if it is a recolor it should still be a fine one. Yours in this circumstance seems pixelated, as for the one I posted on your bundle, you cannot download it from anywhere. You can simply make it using an advanced photo editor and the button manager. Check this: Full Icon Tutorial (Reforged) + ¨tool¨ I hope it helps you!well, I think I'm going to delete my icon and use the one you showed me, where can I download it?
pixelated... i can work on that thanks for the feedbackThat's not how it works! You see, same as you I'm not really awesome at creating my own icons. I will work on it, thanks for the feedbackThis looks too gray to me. If you could make it more black or more white and add some highlights in the fingers to make it look more metal.
sorry for the delay, here is the new versionIt's better than before. You can also try to sharpen it more so it would look more defined and add more contrast and shadows. Keep comparing it with spellbreaker's spell steal.
Well sadly I dont think I can change it to not be a recolor, it is what it is. I can probably improve it but it wont stop being a recolor. SorryIll give you a chance to add more towards this because right now its just a recolor.
I was done with this annoying little drawing adventure of mine, but once I read your comment dude, I just got that itch all over again, and let me tell ya, that's a good thing, cause the inspiration has yielded some good results, I think:I think you should add black lines, to seperate colours. It's a bit blurry to me, and colors are not separated enough. Highlighting parts can save this from "Awaiting update" hell.
Whoa, easy now, take your time, take your rest. You can't make the river flow to go faster. It's good to see that I inspired you with my comment. So, I kept thinking about the "awaiting update hell", so I got a little creative, not too much, and decided to turn it into a hydromantic spell. You can see the palm of the mage's hands through the water and there is a little leather strap to keep the gauntlet in place.
It needs more work, but I've reached that point in which by trying to improve something I end up smudging everything around it, so progress has slowed down a lot from the first week, I specially have trouble with the water; shape, color and those white lines are all a little off from the way I imagine them.
P.s. I've also attempted to make a golden glow version, since the spell was meant to be a heal of sorts, but it's hard and I'm kinda burnt out.
I am using gimp! hints are welcome pal, but it's an older version tho, like 2017 prollyI can give you some hints, if you use GIMP.
Try to utilize the Path tool, as much as you can. It can save you a lot of headache. Try out to work on multiple layers, and change the layer mode: changing them can effect the work you done on it on a good way. It should work on colors, so duplicating recoloring layers can enchance them to be more shadowy, or detailed. When you create glow use gnaussian blur from the filters options, and cut out the black background, if you already not cutted out, and create a background layer, with the background color you want, and when you want to make a detail to have "glowing", then right click on the choosen layer and "select alpha" something, and basicly selecting the hand example, and fill it with the choosen color of glow, and put it under the hand layer, and filters-> gnaussian blur, and voila, you have your glow for the hand example.I am using gimp! hints are welcome pal, but it's an older version tho, like 2017 prolly
jeez that sounds kinda complex but I'll definitely look into it. thxTry to utilize the Path tool, as much as you can. It can save you a lot of headache.
