How would I turn lighting off

How would I turn lighting off. I mean I have different sectons to my map. And I want the lighting off in certain parts. So basically I want to know how to turn lighting off in certain areas, and keep it on in others. Is this possible? Help is apperciated.

You might wanna try variables. Like making one variable ín wich you check the array box so that you can use the same for all lightning effects. You must give a number to each lightning effect when you set the variables through the Set Variable action.

make regions for those areas where you don't want any lightning and make a trigger to play the death animation of all lightnings in those areas
