[General] how to show item minimap icon?

I saw a MinimapItem line in custom interface but seems not work, can i make it to show?

NO, he means item icon that is no longer used in mini-map. It is located in the .mpq, but items no longer show that icon in the mini-map.

It was probably left out from the alpha version of Warcraft 3.

Then he may look for it in the .mpq folder, or probably in the game interface.
Otherwise, he could use a simple rank for items location in the mini-map or a ping.

Simple :)
If you take a look in the game interface you'll find all the contain of the mini-map, e.g : ColdMine mark (that small gold mark), it can be changed into another one including for the others.
Same thing in .mpq folder, if you're using Model Editor--->.war3.mpq, and you'll find them there. But if "it's not possible" the other solution is using a mini-map ping (Cinematic - Ping mini-map for player...), so that the player will realize the items location

Oh you mean ping the location of every item on the map? That's possible. The first one is also possible, but too much work.
