How to increase buildings range?

Hello,
How can i increase the range of towers above their standard range? for example the Guard Tower has 700 range and when i set it to 1000 it stays 700 in the game!

It's not that the tower doesn't acquire a target. The range itself doesn't increase (when u place the cursor on the attack icon it's still 700). I tried increasing the acquisition range though and it didn't work.

yes but when the acquisition range is lower than the attack range, the attack range you see ingame will only be the acquisition range. But apparently that was not it.

Care to post a screenshot of the object editor?

Just tested and it works correctly. I think you did not set acquisition range correctly.
