How to Give Item Town Portal Scroll Cooldown?

When ever i add a cooldown to the item ability two portal in game it says unit cant be teleported. but when i remove cooldown it works properly. anyway to get around this?

ya i know i can do that but i want it to only target town portals. players will have other structures on the map. Is there i can disable the item/or make it unclickable for 10 seconds?

You could replace the item with an exact replica that doesn't have an ability, start a timer for 10 seconds, and when the timer ends replace the replica with the actual item.

I'm sure theres an easier way to do this, I just can't figure it out ^-^
