How to change the animation of a unit ?

Hi guys, I wanna know, how can I add a new animation to a unit (A animation which the unit doesn't have), the animation which I wanna ADD is throw on the ground... How can I do it ? I need a program ? I need experct knowledge about models and etc

I saw some tutorials about animation, but I didn't understand them, I mean, it just told me the animation names and how to play an animation by triggers and that's what I dont wanna, I wanna know how do I change an unit animation (custom animation)
