[General] How to change race string?

I don't think you can. Most of the strings in the Game Interface tab don't deal with the lobby race names.

I've been looking since I would like to do this to now that I think about it,but my search hasn't been fruitful:

I'm going to test something real uick on a small test map and I'll get back to you.

Edit: My attempt failed. Apparently there is no way to do this that has been discovered yet. The best you can do will result in future games listing different race names (not ideal).

Use a Dialog at the beginning of the game and lock everyone in as a particular race.

It is possible when overriding the ui\framedef\globalstrings.fdf file somewhere else than in the map, which is a lame solution though..

Boris_Spider is right, so far nobody seems to have found a nice solution to this.

While you can even successfully call the Preload natives in the config function (:hohum:), it seems to be of no use in this situation.
