Is there a way to change race mid-game?

I'm toying with the idea of making a Talisman-based WarCraft III map, and I was wondering if there's a way to change races mid-game for any specific player. In the game, you can change your alignment, and it'd be cool if the interface could change from Human to Undead depending on whether you were Good or Evil. Is this possible?

Interface is locked down, so I doubt you can.
Changing race as of changing units and such are possible tho.
